Services

Professional Services

Our Professional Services encompass specialized expertise in evaluating and addressing earth, environmental, and water-related challenges for construction and infrastructure projects.

Subsurface Pro Professional Geotechnical Services<br />
  • Geotechnical Reporting – We produce reports analysing subsurface conditions to guide construction and engineering projects. It includes soil, rock, earthquake, and groundwater data, lab test results, and design recommendations to ensure structural stability and mitigate risks like erosion or settlement.
  • Environmental Reporting- Reports assessing soil & water contamination and quality. It includes sampling, lab analysis, and evaluations of pollutants, pH, nutrients, or toxins. The report guides land use, remediation, or compliance with environmental regulations to protect ecosystems and health.
  • Water Resource Assessments –These assessments evaluate the availability, quality, and sustainability of water sources. They analyze hydrology, usage patterns, and environmental impacts to support the planning, management, and conservation of water for drinking, agriculture, industry, and ecosystems.

Site Investigations

Our Site investigations are the systematic process of gathering data about the physical, chemical, and environmental characteristics of a site to inform project planning and design.

Subsurface Pro Site-Investigation-Services
  • Geophysical Surveys – We use Electrical Resistivity Imaging (ERI) which is a non-destructive method for subsurface investigations. Depending on the site this has its advantages and can be very useful in some situations.
  • Geotechnical & Environmental Drilling – With our drill rigs, we carry out boreholes to collect soil, rock, and groundwater samples for analysis. It supports construction, site assessments, and contamination studies, providing data for foundation design, environmental remediation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Marine Offshore Drilling – Our drill rigs can be used in extracting geological samples beneath the seabed. It uses specialized platforms or ships with our rigs in open water to drill into subsea formations for exploration, production, or environmental and geotechnical studies.
  • Lab Testing – We produce test reports analysing soil, rock, and water samples for properties like strength, permeability, contamination, or pH. These tests provide critical data for construction design, environmental compliance, and site remediation planning.

Specialist Construction

We offer Specialist Construction in a number of areas that requires specialised knowledge, skills, equipment, or techniques beyond standard building practices. It involves unique, often complex, or highly technical aspects of a project that demand expert contractors or professionals.

Subsurface Pro Specialist Construction Services
  • Water Well Development  – The water well development process involves drilling to reach the aquifer, casing installation to prevent collapse, and well screen placement for water entry. Then, the well is cleaned and developed by pumping or surging to remove fine particles. Finally, it undergoes testing for yield and quality before being equipped for use.
  • Deep Injection Drainage Wells – With our drill rigs, we carry out boreholes to collect soil, rock, and groundwater samples for analysis. It supports construction, site assessments, and contamination studies, providing data for foundation design, environmental remediation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Deewatering Wells – These wells are installed to lower groundwater levels temporarily or permanently. They prevent water buildup at construction sites, mines, or excavations, ensuring stability and safety by draining water from surrounding soils or aquifers.
  • Auger Piling – Cast-in-place auger piling involves drilling a hole using an auger, then placing a reinforcing cage and pouring concrete into the drilled shaft. The auger is fully withdrawn before concrete placement. It’s ideal for stable soils and precise foundation needs.
  • Micro or Mini Piling –This is a deep foundation technique using small-diameter piles (typically less than 300 mm). It involves drilling and installing boreholes which can be grout-filled to form piles to support structures in restricted spaces or challenging ground conditions, this is ideal for solar farms or structures needing smaller piles.
  • Ground Anchors Structural elements used to stabilize or support foundations, retaining walls, slopes, or other structures. They consist of tensioned steel bars or cables drilled into the ground and secured with grout, transferring loads to stable soil or rock layers for stability.
  • Monitoring WellsSpecialised wells used to sample groundwater or monitor subsurface conditions, typically for environmental, geotechnical, or water resource purposes. They are key components in groundwater studies and environmental monitoring programs.
